Well done to the twenty year eight and nine students who made the effort to represent the Yorke Peninsula Zone this year. They were well skilled, played a positive attacking game style and appropriately competitive attack on the ball.
Unfortunately over the course of the whole match, Kadina Memorial School proved to have a bit too much depth for YPZ, eventually running out winners by a comprehensive margin. While all players showed good endeavour, our better players for the day were those that continually battled , were often outnumbered but showed a fighting spirit over the four quarters.
Well done to KMS on a strong performance and we wish them well for the rest of the competition.
