Earlier this year we were selected to play in the SYP SAPSASA Cricket Carnival. This was held last week, 7-10 Nov, in Adelaide.
On Monday we played at Westminster College against Lower Eyre Peninsula. We got them all out for 47 runs and made over 150 runs to win the game easily.
Tuesday we played at SACA Park 25 against North Eastern. We had another big win.
Wednesday we were back at SACA Park 25. The game against Mid North was much closer and we won by only 10 runs in a very exciting match. Wednesday afternoon we caught up with the SYP tennis team at the Beachouse, Glenelg for a bit of fun.
On Thursday the number one country side, SYP, played the number one metro team, Western, for the Neil Brook Shield. We batted first and made 169 runs. We bowled and fielded well to get them all out for 122, winning the game and the shield by 47 runs. It was a great week and we have made a lot of friends through our SAPSASA experience.
Thanks to Mr Field for coaching and our parents for taking us to trainings and games
