Tuesday December 13 saw the MAS school community gather in the Performing Arts Centre for the annual Presentation Night.
There was an excellent showing of parents, families and students, with the PAC filled to almost caacity.
The evening began with songs from the school Concert Band and the Junior School Choir.
The School Community Rowan Ramsey award was presented to Greg Smart for his voluntary work with the Agricultural Studies program
.Principal Andrew Gravestocks and School Council Chairman Tim Schwartz addressed the audience and both outlined the positive work begun in 2011 in areas such as grounds, staff recruitment and facilities.Teachers Jo Shepherd, Greg Bone and Jill Bagshaw were farewelled and thanked for their contributions to our school over the years.
Primary School leaders Jackson Moloney and Ebony Short reported on the year's events, folowed by the presentation of the Secondary Awards.
After a song fromt the Festival Choir, Kerrie Thomson and Mel McPharlin farwelled our Year 12s and announced their plans and further education goals. Jessica Nankivell, recipent of the 2010 Principal's prize spoke of her year since leaving MAS and the evening was concluded with a stirring speech from our head prefect, Sophie Elies.
